Michael Peterson
Michael Peterson serves as Chief Financial Officer of Fitness Ventures, the largest Crunch Fitness franchise operator in the United States. He leads the company’s finance function, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, and treasury, with a focus on driving enterprise performance, supporting strategic investments, and enabling sustainable growth.
Michael brings extensive financial leadership experience across Fortune 500 and private-equity-backed organizations, including Advance Auto Parts, Target Corporation, and Bob’s Discount Furniture. Throughout his career, Michael has partnered closely with executive leadership teams and Boards of Directors to transform finance organizations and strengthen financial and operational performance. At Fitness Ventures, he is focused on building a scalable, high-performing finance team that supports the company’s continued growth and long-term value creation.
Michael holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Chico.
